I had the same letter about our 58 Jazz and took it down to the dealer. We have had an occasional problem closing the window, where it starts to close then opens again, sometimes takes three or four attempts to get it shut.
Dealer explained that this is not the switch problem in the recall. Our problem, and I think possibly related to yours, is that the window is stiff in the guides, and in our case the safety mechanism cuts in because the sensor thinks it may trapping a hand or head.
The switch problem in the recall is about the switch not operating at all, so if your window is responding the switch, the switch is working.
