Rear hatch inner panel removal
« on: May 31, 2025, 10:45:34 AM »
Had a hit & run whilst parked few days ago and want to remove the inner panel for inspection and possibly straighten the dent some.
Has anyone here done that? Eventually how much is just clips and where is the the screws needed to be removed?
I see there is a small cover in the lower center of the panel but not much else.
Any advice? :)

Seems I'm too lazy. A quick search on YT revealed this:

Had to remove that panel when I fitted a reversing camera and found that the plastic fittings were quite brittle - someone had obviously been there before me and one of the fittings was broken.

Put a smear of grease on the clips before refitting
