Air Con Fan lost a blade!!

The aircon fan on the back of the exchanger has lost a blade and is now seriously unbalanced. When the air cons on the car shakes really really bad.   At 60mpg with the aircon switched the wind passing though it is enough to spin the fan up and again vibrate the car like mad.

Anyone know how easy it is to get the fan assembly out. I have the early type so i have a seperate radiator and aircon exchanger side by side.     is it possibly to get just the fan out without disconnecting all the air con pipes?

It's quite a tight fit from above, and the manual recommends removing the bumper to gain access to the condenser but the plastic under skirt is easy to remove and may give enough access to take a look at the fan from beneath.  Hopefully the fan motor fixings are on the correct side of the bracket and accessible; there's quite a decent space between the fan and the lower part of the engine block although there is also a cross beam that might complicate matters.

all the manuals i found seem to show one full width radiatori seem to have a half width radiator on passenger side and the aircon exchanger on the right handside. 

i will have to get underneath and have a look i cant see anything from the top only that one blade is shattered i just didnt want to have to remove the exchanger and get a recharge etc

2002 > 2004 are the half & half style like yours and mine, the facelift models have the parallel style.  If you can lift the car a bit then once the plastic under tray is removed you can at least reach the fan fairly easily, whether it's removable is unclear.
