My Wife is a shrinking 5ft and finds it difficult to push the door open enough to use her 'getting out aid'. I am reluctant to encourage her to push the door open with her foot given the fact that the plastic would soon show damage. Yes, I know the gentlemen among you would rush around and open it for her but after 53 yrs of marriage I could do with her opening the door for me.
I have trawled through E bay and also Ali Baba and have found some 'door kick mats' most have Fit on them but have found a couple of plain ones. The problem is they are all for 2014 onwards Fit. They look similar but has anyone any knowledge of A) when was the Fit upgraded to what is a our Mk3? and B) any ideas as to whether the actual design of the door cards has changed much tween Mk2 and 3?
I have no confidence in asking Honda in the light of previous enquiries being ignored and also other members have had no cooperation from Honda UK actually asking Honda Japan re such enquiries.
