Silicone wiper blade source anyone?

Thanks. I didn't go to those lengths to clean before applying RainX so will give it another go, although I have trouble believing it works so well you actually don't need wipers above 30/40mph. Have you actually experienced this?

I will still need silicone to address the squeak below 30, although possible that the properly applied RainX would change surface properties enough to prevent it.

BTW what is a clay bar, and PB Pro Polish?

I used to use rainex but found it was not effective on windscreen for very long (couple of weeks) because of wipers rubbing it off because you still need to use wipers below 40mph.  It was useful on side Windows in winter because frost literally fell off Windows when you started to scrape them.

I don't know about RainX, but i use the turtle wax clear vue rain repellent. I have applied it twice since April this year and from 50kph (=31mph) raindrops are rolling from the windshields. I hardly use the windshield fluid, but clean the windows every other week with a spray bottle (demi) water or during a car wash (by hand).

Instead of using this on side windows, i applied the paint sealant there. Much cheaper. The Finish Kare 1000p sealant is a great winter sealant and can be used on paint, alloys and windows. Ice and dirt go off easy and its durability is 4-6 months.
Btw, i ordered that sealant special from the UK, because it's not sold here in the NL.
