I've always looked after my cars but, since retirement, have upped my game a bit from the occasional application of Turtle Wax. I have been using Autoglym Super Resin Polish topped off with Extra Gloss protection but as I was running low on these I decided to try something a bit different.
I have bought some Bilt Hamber Double Speed wax as a last stage/protection coating. It's a solid or paste wax and I haven't used one of these for more years than I care to remember. This is mainly because I have distant memories of hard waxes being a pig to buff off.
Anyway this stuff comes with a sponge applicator and a large microfibre. It was a dream to use and buffed off really easily. The trick, apparently, is to buff off no more than 5 or 10 mins after application. Following this guideline it was really easy to use.
You can get this at Halfords (some branches) and Amazon sell it but I paid just £13 from
www.polishedbliss.co.uk and this was much cheaper than Amazon. Looking at the tin after using it I reckon there is enough for at least 20 applications.
