After 9 years and almost 70,000 miles I am exchanging my Mk3 SE for a Mk4 Elegance. The true overall figures for the Mk 3 are 69773 miles and 6215.2 litres of E10, mostly from ASDA. This converts to 51.0 mpg. I have never zero’d the B trip, and the averages shown there are 54 mpg and 30 mph.

My 2018 1.3 has done 76,000. Average 58.5mpg. Lots of long journeys.
I do use costco 97 octane. Never use supermarket 94 octane.

Best I did on the guage was 70.1 to Heathrow 125 miles and 70 to Worcester 90 miles. A run to Normandy usually 58-61.
On 97 octane.

At 90K now, still getting 54-57mpg in a motorway/city mixed mode.

Five years ago I got a Mk3 1.3 EX CVT.

In first year I drove 8,500 miles at 52.6mpg

Second year 7,800 miles at 55.1mpg

Third year 6,500 miles at 55.1mpg

Fourth year 5,600 miles at 56.0mpg

Fifth year 4,400 miles at 53.4mpg

Overall 32,787 miles at 54.3mpg, almost all with supermarket E10 fuel.

The above are "true" mpg, fibometer values are typically 5mpg higher.

Mileage in the Jazz last 17 months has reduced since I bought another car for "fun" driving (8,500 miles at 56.9 mpg).
