This is the "free" breakdown package that's included after every service.
There's blurb in it that tells you to write to Honda and they'll consider transfering it. I called them, hoping to avoid writing, and they recognised the policy number but told me same - I'd have to write and request transfer. So I did.
I've now had a letter back asking for a fee (but doesn't say how much!) and for all sorts of other info, proof of sale, service history etc etc.
I can't help thinking they've got hold of the wrong end of the stick, but I referenced the policy number, and they referred to it being free. Has anyone else had difficulty with this?
