Jazz Sport bumpers
« on: October 14, 2013, 08:43:02 PM »
Hi guys

So i am thinking of getting a Honda jazz as i maybe doing long distance driving and my EG and EP3 wouldn't be fuel efficient. I have been looking around and i think these little things are for me! I love the jazz sports but i was wondering if the sport bumpers will fit a non sport? Simply because i love the look of the sport but i cant justify the cost of one,

Which Jazz do you mean? I have a 2009 Jazz sport (Switzerland non UK model which has slightly different kit to UK) and as far as I know you can fit the kit to a standard Jazz. I think you will find that the cost of the kit plus painting plus fitting will cost quite a bit, if you do it yourself you really have to look that the kit is fitted properly otherwise it will look bad if it's not straight. For the rear bumper you have to check that the exhaust will not foul.
There are after market kits but stay away from fibreglass kits as these will often crack. ABS is a better material.
You will also possibly have to tell the insurance as the car is then modified.
All in all I would either wait till you have enough money for a sport model or think about some less expensive add-ons for a standard model such as tinted windows, new lights, alloy wheels etc.
