Clutch Pedal Squeak
« on: October 02, 2013, 05:29:04 PM »
I am getting a squeak from the clutch pedal as I release it - any tips on lubricating it. I believe some lubes can damage plastic bearings and some can damage seals. Not bad a close look yet as it is awkward to see.

A safe lubricant is WD40.  The tins come with a tube for accessing tight locations.  If you do not fancy using that, a silicon spray will also work

Sorted mine the other week. Or so I thought! Now it's back with avengence! Alright when I'm alone and can have the music on a little louder. With any other passengers it's slightly irritating to say the least. Now, where's my can of WD-40?
