frosted headlights

My 02 jazz headlights look frosted,have somebody tried to restore/clean them and what did you use.
i have seen this product called Plast X but i m not sure for the result.
Any advice will be appreciated.

I used 3M polishing compound. a soft cloth and a light circular motion.  It took about 20 mins per lamp (On a BMW, not a Jazz, but similar complaint)

You can also use brass polish, I use this to remove scratches from CDs and DVDs successfully
