Is there any way that the brightness of the Radio & Aircon LCD readouts can be improved?
On the 2011 model the colour of these readouts has been changed from black/grey to black/orange and I find that in certain conditions they are more difficult to see than the old readouts, particularly when wearing polarized sunglasses.
The problem is also more acute at night when the lights are on, as the brightness is automatically further reduced. The variable brightness control for the dashboard panel has no effect on these readouts and I normally run, even at night with the panel lights turned up to maximum.
I find that, at times, the Radio station names are difficult to read, also the small print on the Aircon panel
I know there is no additional control for these readouts, but it would nice if the brightness could be increased, maybe with a software modification.
Has anyone else experienced these probs?
