Garmin map update 2027.10 available
« on: September 28, 2026, 11:49:10 AM »
Today I was able to successfully update the built-in Garmin satnav to map version "BEV Europe  2027.10" via USB-stick.
No problems at all.

Have you tried to reinstall the maps yet? (you will have to clear out - or even better: reformat the USB-stick - FAT32, "standard allocation units" - before redownloading the maps)
Some people have reported good results by using the Jazz's app manager to clear out the data of the navigation app - please be warned, that this will delete all of your "favourites" and other stored information of the satnav as well!
So, I would heartily encourage the "redownload way"!

Good luck!

All done.
I do find it odd that the bar reaches a rather strange 356% before 'update successful' though.

I only did 3 updates before I stopped due to finding Google Maps far better, but, each one went to a higher % than previous
Let's be careful out there !

Yours only reached 356% at 'update successful'? Disappointingly low...

Both of mine go slowly from 0 to 8% or so, then jump to 350% or so and carry on to 400% or roundabout. I do it while driving nowadays so can't keep an eye on the figures exactly. Always seems to do this, either a Honda bug or a Garmin bug, but as long as the map goes in ok doesn't bug me too much  :D

Having ytoublecwithbthiscone . Downloaded to my freshly formatted Fat 32 USB stick OK but update only gets to 1% then produces an update failed message, retry. The retry also fails.

I’m going back to square one on this , full reformat of USB, hard reset on the infotainment, redownload maps to see if that works. Long drawn out and tedious

Update finally succeeded after much messing about and hard formatting the USB stick…..got to 393% on the successful update and a few hours of perseverance and uninstalling the Garmin app on the PC.
Long live Google maps and Waze!

I find it one of the many annoyances of the digital age that on a diverse variety of devices  updates or downloads often proceed at a fairly constant rate until they reach 99% (or even 100%)  but then take ages to complete the last little bit.  >:(    Or the opposite. Sometimes a download says it will take say 2 hours on your internet connection , and proceed slowly, then suddenly rapidly finishes in much less time.   I know this could be due to the vagaries of the internet connection, server etc and I should be grateful its quicker than the estimate , but its annoying.

A watched pot never boils   ;D Maybe Garmin running to several hundred percent is intended to be less stressful.  You never know how near it is to completion.

I always format my USB stick before downloading  and have never had an update fail
My IQ test came back negative
