Error code u0122
« on: May 20, 2026, 10:00:28 PM »
Error code u0122. Just want to ask if anyone has experienced this and any ideas to fix it..something about the vsa has lost connection with the control unit.

Traction light, abs and red brake light comes on the dash. Seems to be intermittent as after driving it around it all goes out. But after few hours it comes back on. Changed the battery as I know it can cause lights on the dash and checked fuses too.

Thanks

The intermittent nature of the problem suggests a broken wire or water ingress into a wiring connection or terminal.  The easy thing to do is to check the electrical connection on the ABS module. Failing that it needs someone with a wiring diagram to check the wiring to make sure there isn't a broken or corroded wire somewhere.  If that checks out fine, then the module might need replaced.

Thanks for the reply. I took it to tgm this morning and they helped me clear all the codes. Seems to be fine now. Maybe just needed clearing after the battery change. Fingers crossed it's ok. But will check the wires if it comes on again
