Tinworm astonishment
« on: April 17, 2026, 06:29:41 PM »
Evening all

2013 Jazz ES, 65k miles, mechanically sound, regularly serviced, great bodywork, rust free....or so I thought. The other day I was gutted to discover rust blisters around the outside of the petrol filler flap. Anyone else got rust on a car of similar age, or is it just me?

I'm not going to start digging out, applying rust killer, filling in and trying to match a DIY spray job to the rest of the car because it owes me nothing, and we'll probably sell it next year.

But its disappointing.

 Nobody else?

Then I consider myself very unfortunate to be the only member here who owns a second gen Jazz which is afflicted--albeit only slightly--by tinworm.  ;)
