How many cars before the Jazz

2nd hand Citroen AX, followed by 3 (I think) Renault Clios (1st was 2nd hand, other 2 new); then new Hyundai i20, kept for 11 years, now my first Jazz, 3.5 years from new.

Oh, so that makes 6 not 5.

10 cars…viva, 2 escorts, 2 Firstas, Primera, Pegout 405!, Mondeo, A4 then Civic to a 2002 Jazz….this mk 4 is our 5th Jazz Wife and I each have our own Jazzes initially but I’ve had Civic Tourer and now 2 CRVs.

Been very loyal to the Honda Brand but really struggling in these last few years

I'm definitely in a minority, this is my first car  don't think I could have made a better choice, it's a perfect car for beginner drivers!

I have now settled on the XC40 as the longer distance car and the Jazz as our city car, but I still think that at some stage I will trade the Jazz in for another EV city car that has at least double the range of the Honda E

Then 11 more Renaults from then on, all of which performed perfectly well.
The Jazz was bought at 61 as a last car, something to run up the mileage with and a manufacturer I hoped still has a proven reliability record. I also wanted a hybrid.. and if I had been able to get a test drive in the Renault Clio Alpine I might have gone with that.

I may have forgotten one or two, so even though we tend to keep cars a long time the numbers do add up over the years

When speaking about daily drivers Jazz is my 6th car. Before Jazz I have had Renault, Opel, VW and two Peugeots. In addition to those I've had and I have various secondary vehicles for different purposes and including hobby. And then my wife has her cars as well.

But I'm pretty sure my GK5 Jazz is the newest car I will ever have. I drive different new (rental) cars pretty often on work trips abroad, and I don't like the way they are going to. I like 90's cars much more.

I lost count at around five before I ended up with the Jazz  Mostly a mix of “cheap and cheerful” that slowly turned into “why did I buy this again?” moments. Funny how you end up appreciating the Jazz more after dealing with all that. Feels like one of those cars you don’t fully get until you’ve been through a few others first.
