Control Arm Not fitting

I had recently failed MOT due to control arm ( even though seems fine) and CV boots .

I fitted drivers side control arm last year without issue . Some reason the passenger side is so much more difficult .
I can fit the Control arm main bolts to chassis but for hours I tried getting the damn ball joint into the hub without luck .
The hub seems so far from the ball joint, and the hub does not want to move any closer to the ball joint . Even when sticking a jack under it, the hub just moves further away
It is fully seated on the transmission side, so not sure what the issue is. Any ideas ?

You may have dislocated the inner drive shaft joint so it won’t allow the shaft to go back into the joint and the hub won’t go further in. The only way I have found to rectify this is to remove the inner drive shaft boot and align the 3 rollers and push the shaft back in. You can normally see and feel that the joint rollers have come out of the joint.
