HYBRID jazz comparisons

Just test drove hybrid, new mid range CVT and compared with my 7500 mile EX Ishift over same route.

Hybrid was most pleasant overall package and comes of course for a price but is not congestion charge exempt.

Ishift ride more crashy and noisier over bumps but not as bouncy as CVT but not as smooth as hybrid

CVT noisier than either under acceleration

Steering on Ishift chunkier and nicer feel than CVT but most pleasant and fluid combination was from Hybrid

Did not have an opportunity to try either CVT or Hybrid on motorway.

Economy CVT 35 Ishift 38 Hybrid 50 mpg shown but subtract 10% as Honda electronics are not seemingly accurate.

Tempted to buy Hybrid. But also want to travel on continent and bought spare wheel which fits in EX well. So tough and expensive choice particularly trading in 2 year old model.

Interesting commments about the ride.  If the Hybrid was the best, this suggests that the weight of the batteries in the rear is helpful for comfort.
