Any Knowledge On My Fit RS?

Hi there,

I'm new to the Jazz community. Bought this import a month ago as I wanted something cool and quirky as a daily.

Just wondered if you guys can shed any light/confirm its background.

Its a Honda Fit RS, 10th Anniversary, Mugen Edition (apparently)

The camera doesn't pick up the paint very well. Its the Mugen Yellow Pearl 2, it has a full mugen kit, minus the grill. Mugen floor mats, mugen carbon wing mirror covers and carbon rear view mirror.

Its a L15A with a CVT gearbox.

I've heard mugen only did a few of these.
Is this true? Or has someone sent it to Mugen for the full treatment incl the Mugen paint job?

Really appreciate it guys.
I have several cars and I absolutely adore this. I've popped a few spoon decals on given the colour and bought some FN2 Type R seats to pop in.

Nice looking RS Fit.  I have one as well but not the special edition.  Most of the parts it uses are the same as the UK Jazz by the way, but when ordering parts I found it easier to use the registration number of a UK Jazz, and not the one on the car, as most parts suppliers dont recognise the registration number that came with the car.

Thank you Keekster. Thats a brilliant idea. Its so hard trying to find bits for this. I was in Halfords yesterday scratching my head finding a rear wiper blade lol.

I would like to swap out the discs and pads. Would you know if they use the same as the 1.4?

Hi.  Yes exactly the same front and rear brakes as the UK GE Jazz.  I've already replaced my front ones, and I've bought the rear ones but haven't got around to fitting them yet.  I also have a Japanese 1.3l Fit.  Getting brake parts for that is much harder as they are totally different, with much smaller front brakes and drums on the rear!  I tend to buy my parts off ebay, from suppliers who give the spec/sizes of the parts.  That way means I can measure and check them against my old ones to make sire they are the correct size.  I've also replaced the starter and the pulley belt, again the same parts as a UK Jazz.
