You can find a new space-saver spare wheel, jack and spanner on eBay for around £160, or a second-hand full size wheel/tyre, jack and spanner, from about £50.
If you go down this route, don't trust the "mickey-mouse" spanner to get the nuts off.
Before I bought my Jazz in March, I'd had two CRVs over the space of 27 years. I changed a wheel several times, but never used the spanner supplied. I always carried the right socket and the T-bar from my vintage socket set and a big ring spanner, to put on the end of it to increase the mechanical advantage. There's no way you can undo a wheel nut, tightened by a garage or tyre fitting outlet.
