N/S Door card removal
« on: May 11, 2025, 05:36:23 PM »
Can’t find the posts relating to removal of the door card,my apologies.
Can you point me to any please?

I think once these are undone it’s a case of popping the outer clips, is that right?

Just found a video that shows taking arm rest outer off with just one screw to undo afterwards, hoping  that this one is right.

I’ve got a dull rattle inside the door (I think), driving me mad!

I've done it a few times.  I watched the you tube video first.  Was pretty easy, just a couple of screws and carefully pop it off by using a plastic pry tool along the edges.  If you remove it you have to disconnect the electrical connection, but thats easy, just follow the videos. Before you refit I suggest a small touch of grease on the clips, that will make it easier to do in future and reduce risk of breaking the clips.

Thanks very much, can’t narrow down the noise  yet.
Even bought a stethoscope as my wife doesn’t drive,so I can’t get a good idea.
Doesn’t seem much behind there to be honest to make a noise.
