Current Jazz e:HEV 2024 / 25 Choice of colours
« on: December 23, 2024, 04:20:13 PM »
Looking at the Honda web site the range of colours for the Jazz e:HEV 2024 / 25 seems to have been reduced
Advance: Black, Dark Blue, White & Red
Elegance: Black, Dark Blue, White  & Red
Crosstar Advance: Black, Fjord Mist, White & Red
Advance Sport: Urban Grey Pearl, Black, White & Red
I wonder if there will be any new colours in 2025.
I really would like new Jazz in 2025 but only really like Fjord Mist, but can not justify the cost of the Crosstar Advance to get that colour. I would replace my 2020 Jazz but don't want Black or Dark blue and I already have a white jazz so the only choice for me seems to be red.
Other manufacturers offer a much better choice of colours.
Hinda Dealers seem to be good offering discount on Jazz models currently in stock.

I agree about the current colour range. We’ve just changed our 9 yr old 70,000 mile sporty blue Mk 3. We wanted the elegance and finally opted for red, which we like well enough. The dark blue is too close to black in my view and I’ve never wanted a black or white car. The dealer was quite keen for a sale and we paid just over £20k for the exchange.

The 2025 'white' option  for the 2025 Elegance is probably "premium  sunlight white pearl" .This is the colour of my 2024 Elegance, which is not available in Platinum white.

The Sunlight white is significantly different to Platinum white.  it varies in colour depending on the light.
In good  light you would call it white, unless its parked next to a Platinum white car when  its quite noticeably a very, very ,light bluish Grey.. In sunlight it can take on a light silvery  lustrous glow with a variety of pearlescent  tones.    You never know quite what colour the car will be  .(  The Titanium white can also take on a creamy lustrous glow in the sun, but not as much)

I recommend looking at a sunlight white car parked next to platinum white one  before dismissing it as just another white .

I agree that "Premium Sunlight White Pearl" looks more of a blueish-golden-gray than white!
It is very different from "Platinum White Pearl" (a colour reserved to the Advance Sport model).

This morning my car is a very pale grey  with a slightly golden silvery sheen where most light hits it  . Weather is light cloud just beginning to brighten up.    Its difficult to describe unless you see it. You could almost call it a sort of metallic effect ,but its  so much more. Its caused by iridescent mica in the paint.

I attach a photo I used on another post, which shows the extent of the contrast against a white label. But fails to show how this 'greyness' can come alive.

The dark blue is very black looking, I had it yesterday for a day. so much so I thought it was black for a while until I parked it half an hour later and had a good look.

Not to be bias, since it's the colour I have, the Premium Sunlight White with the Black roof, is the colour to have.  ;D
My brother-in-law recently purchased a 2024 Advance Sport in black and wished he could have got it in the Sunlight White/ Black combo.
The pearl pigment is titanium coated mica, with a combination of certain metal salts which influences the various colour options for pearl pigments. The flip/flop colour change is caused by a combination of light reflection and refraction.
It for sure looks best outside of a showroom

Addendum: As you can clearly see from my profile picture: The car looks even "grayer" than the webpage's background.
(I wanted to buy a white car and was definitely misled by the colour's name - but it is still the "whitish" colour available for the Advance)
