Reached 500,000 Km on my 2003 Jazz Today
« on: September 16, 2024, 07:00:37 PM »
I never thought I would keep this car for this long, bought it 14 years ago with 160k on it ( it was a previously crashed car and was the cheapest Jazz in my Country).
I'm not 100% sure about it having the 160k on it when I got it as It might have been clocked as well, so It has as a Minimum 500,000 Km Today :D

-Still on the original Clutch & have never changed the Gearbox oil in it.
-Engine Still Doesn't Burns any Oil whatsoever & I have been using only the cheapest 10w40 Semi-Synthetic :D
-Still drives good & everything Apart from Radio Still works great

Apart from Fluid Changes/new tyres/wipers/brake pads in all this time I haven't really done anything else to it apart from changing the Original Brake Discs on it only 10k km ago.

I suspect I will need to change my Starter Motor very soon on it tho, That's about it.

No one ever Believes me when I tell someone this  :'(
Oh also I run it on LPG so It's just as cheap to drive as an Electric car.

that's mad, I've just bought a 2006 jazz with 165k kms on the clock. I reckon I'll drive it till it dies, so it's looking like a long term relationship.

Do the well documented regulator "fix" on the radio and go for perfection :)
