2024 Jazz Crosstar-Android Auto Freezing Problem

Hello. I am having an Android Auto freezing problem in my 2024 Jazz Hybrid Crosstar vehicle. I tried it on both my phones, the problem is the same, they have Android 11 and 13 operating systems. My phone connects to the vehicle wired and wirelessly. However, when I want to get directions using Google Maps, the system freezes and never comes back. There are many people around me who have this problem with 2024 jazz. I rebooted the multimedia system and it didn't work. This issue is really bothering me. I would be very happy if you could help me. Thank you very much.

One thing to try.  This has happened to me a couple times.  The GPS used is the car GPS, not the phone GPS.  If the Garmin nav installed as standard has been updated, car GPS may not be running in the background.  Google Maps and Waze will just hang when a destination is selected.  Once the car GPS is up again, after a system reboot, sorts itself out. 

May be contributing to your problem.  Mine is a 2021 Crosstar not a 2024 model, but I dont know if the infotainment has been updated on later model years

Set the headunit and the smartphone languages to English. This WILL fix it all.
