Any ideas for a suitable cushion to enhance the comfort of the front bucket seats?

McDonalds?  ;D

On a more serious note: Have you tried the search function of the forum yet? Searching for "cushion" I found several threads (including the three(!) started by you) some even with links to products e.g. https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=13927.msg109708#msg109708
Please keep in mind that any cushion will at least dull to defeat the seat heating.

Thanks for tis information.  I understand that the front seats in EU and Swiss Crosstars are different than here in the UK.  Less 'bucket' like?

This is what I bought for my Crosstar to eliminate the discomfort of my thighs resting on the front edge of the seat https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003JLYPO4. It was slightly too big for the depression in the seat but did the job.

I couldn't tell you because I've never sat in a Crosstar. Though, I understand from Honda's documentation that the Crosstar has more rugged and waterproofed seating.
btw, what makes you think EU and Swiss models might be different from what you get in the UK? (besides right hand drive of course).

I was going to buy a Crosstar, test drove one and loved it. 'Sold'it to my wife and took a second test with her. Then found passenger seat was too low for her and discovered it was not height adjustable.
Deal off and so Honda lost a sale for the sake of an adjustable seat - why don't Honda fit adjustable passenger seats like most competitors? It just seems perverse to me.

One of the most disappointing issue with the Jazz is the passenger seat not being adjustable. My wife has to use a cushion to see over the dash! I'm interested in seeing what other people come up with as a better solution.

On request of my wife the passenger seat in our 2022 Jazz was set higher by Honda dealer.
It even needed a second attempt to put it a little lower again, all at no extra cost  (dealer Welman in Alkmaar).
They used some kind of spacers.
Maybe you can ask your dealer to do the same.

Good customer service by the Dealer - but it shouldn’t have been necessary. Honda could fit height adjustable seats tomorrow if they wanted. Technology available as left hand drive cars have height adjustable drivers seat. Drives me nuts that Honda are so short sited. Their response to me when I enquired why they didn’t fit  height adjustable passenger seats was..... there is no demand for them...???????

I agree

If they only made adjustable left and right seats then every Jazz would be the same regardless of left or right hand drive

One production line instead of 2
Let's be careful out there !

Would there be any precautions to be taken if fitting spacers in the passenger seat, could the side airbags be set off?

Given how important an issue it is, I'm surprised you even bothered test driving one tbh.

It does seem very short sighted of Honda not to fit them though. Even my mk1 Octavia Ambient had height adjustable passenger seat. Very helpful on the couple of occasions I needed to transport my elderly arthritic aunt. There was simply no way would she have got in without the seat on its highest setting.

Given it's clearly costing Honda sales, it has to be a false economy not to fit as standard.

It's all about emissions so any way to save 1kg manufacturers will take it, hence no jack wheel brace spare wheel etc.

In reality, leaving off such equipment also saves Honda money.
