New Jazz, rear seat and sun visor light

HI,
two curiosities in the new Jazz have they put the courtesy lights under the sun visors?
Is there an armrest in the center of the seat in the back seat like the Japanese version?

Yes, at least on the 2024 Crosstar there is a halogen light in the sun visors, and it turns on when you slide open the mirror cover in the sun visor.

And no, the back seat does not have a center armrest. At least on the Crosstar. Maybe other Jazz models might have some differences?

I have a 2021 EX model and do have lights in the sun visors  and do not have a centre armrest in the back seat, I don't believe any of the models have a rear armrest. Hope that helps

On the JAZZ brochure 2024 all models (Eleganze, Advance, Sport and Crosstar) have:
Map Ligth (front);
Courtesy light;
Sunvisor vanity mirror illumination;
Boot light.

They all have a central front armrest (which for me is a little too far back; in the previous model it was in a more forward position and, in my opinion, it was a little more comfortable while now the housing underneath is wider and deep).

None have a rear armrest.

Yes, my 2023 Advance  Jazz has all the lights as stated by RafJazz, including the Sunvisor vanity mirror illumination.

thanks everyone for the replies,
I have the first version of the 2020 EX and unfortunately it doesn't have the lights under the sun visors, I'd like to fit them, but I don't know if it's feasible, maybe just fit a lamp holder, but then I don't know what it's like to bring the power to it, or do they run on batteries?
I've only seen the rear armrest on cars in Japan (on the internet) I'm talking about the 2020 version, but even there I wouldn't know how to get the part, what code it costs, etc..

...I'm sure they deliberately keep some things back in order to make the 'facelift' more tempting.
All the small improvements and additions may be enough to convince new or existing customers that this is the model they really need in their lives!

Civic facelifts have often removed useful items

The 9G Civic early on lost the plastic front seat bolt covers, made it look really cheap on opening the front doors
They also removed the manual pack glovebox elastic strap that held the pack vertical at the back so you could use the front

But the one thing they changed, that stopped me buying one and keeping my pre-facelift was a cheaper android audio unit that was initially plauged with problems and took 8 or so software updates to fix

They wanted 55 quid for 4 plastic seat bolt covers. I wrote a polite letter to Honda UK describing my history of buying Civics and how disappointed I was with the cheap look, needing the seats right back, and how your eye fell on the bolts a soon as you opened the door, and customers might be looking at Audis and BMWs in "perceived" quality as competitors etc etc. Result - they sent me a set gratis.

I did it a while ago,
the caps can be removed easily,
I don't remember exactly but there were some indications (I can look at it tonight too) but I don't remember seeing any electrical connections.

...If the wiring etc. isn't there it isn't there. Just remember though if it was a BMW it would be all set up ready to go, you'd just have to pay a monthly subscription to use it

Yes, caps come out easily with a small flathead screwdriver, just 2 screws underneath.
