CVT weird problem!
« on: August 05, 2023, 04:30:28 PM »
Hi everyone

A year ago i start grudually losing the CVT steering wheel buttons (also audio RCD buttons). Both paddles plus the 7speed button was getting more and more difficult to select. I had the feeling the a bad contact (due to dirt) was happening.
I ignore the issue since i don't really use the paddles.

Since last month during driving the CVT changes mode, randomly.
From full CVT auto goes to CVT gear select, back and forth!!!
And this is happening more and more often.
At first i thought a sticky "7speed" button could be the case but it seems to me now it's an CVT ECU issue.
Has anyone experience something like that? If yes i would appriciate his input.

Best Regards to all, Dimitris

My cvt simply does not switch from CVT to manual at all. The car say a few months while I worked overseas.
What error code should I search. The cvt to manual is an earth switch but do wires or corrosion at steering wheel corrode or fail?
