My 2004 mk1 jazz had an annoying rattle from around the instrument binnacle, and my mk1 Nissan note had various from behind the radio - all fixed with bits of sponge and cable ties, my current 2023 SR jazz s free from any rattles  :D :D

Hello, I've just noticed that it was my query about rattles and squeaks etc that I nearly replied to again!!
My query was started about 1 1/2 years ago , I don't know how it has been restarted again.
Years ago , in another car , I had an annoying rattling noise that seemed to come from the rear passenger seat area , I found the rattle was caused by marbles left in the door handles by my grand children.
A friend of mine who owned a Lada used to say that when the rattling noises go it means the parts have fallen off .
Of the later cars I've owned the Renault Captur was by far the worst for rattles and squeaks and it was most unreliable I've ever owned and I've owned some really appalling bangers in my time !
The Jazz has made me a lazy driver with auto this and that which I enjoy.

I’ve also noticed that noises in the Jazz stand out much more compared to other ICE cars I’ve driven. One thing that particularly annoys me is the fan noise in winter - when the AC compensates for low temperatures, it ramps up the fan to level 4 or 5+. That’s when it becomes annoying, especially in the relative quiet of the car, and I usually end up turning it down manually.

Another thing I’ve picked up on is a creaking noise from the steering wheel when maneuvering at low speeds in EV mode. I suspect it’s the clock spring. normally, I wouldn’t even hear it, but since the Jazz is so quiet, it’s quite noticeable.

I’ve also had minor rattles around the rearview mirror, but I’ve stopped paying attention to them over time.
