Which O2 Sensor?

Based on increasingly bad fuel economy (even after cleaning upstream sensor) and OBD readings of .99 to 1.0 volts, I believe I am in the market for a new O2.
Car: 2012 IMA-Hybrid 1.3 (not 1.5)
I believe the correct part is: 36531-RE0-003
(expensive as heck...)
A couple of places are telling me that:
36531-RB0-003 will work fine, but I see that unit covers thru year 2011.
Does anybody have reliable information as to whether I can go with an upstream O2 other than the -RE0- item? Are heaters different? Other incompatibilities? Also if you know of an aftermarket, let me know.

These O2 sensors really do NOT require cleaning.  They operate at very high temperatures and have an inbuilt heater element to ensure they reach operating temperature as quickly as possible - in short there is nothing to clean off unless you have polluted your fuel i.e. added diesel to the tank.

When you say you are seeing .99 - 1 on the OBD I suspect you are reading Lambda not the sensor voltage.  An engine showing lambda .99 - 1 is bang on where it should be.  The old 'analogue' lambda probes would read .85 volts when seeing a rich condition and about .45 when lean however that is old technology and not used in the Jazz.  It has a wideband O2 sensor working with Lambda, aiming for a figure of 1.  If the engine was running rich enough to cause excessive consumption it would display a lambda figure in the region of .7-.85 and the ECU would register a fault light if this condition continued.  You are dealing with a modern system not the old 80's and 90's lambda probes.

My advice would be to stop the cleaning, likewise especially the MAF which is very sensitive.  Keep the airfilter spotless and leave the MAF alone.

Check for things like brakes dragging, tyres etc.

Yes do not try to clean a MAF sensor or a lambda sensor. It’s not good for them.

Poor fuel consumption , please post details of any diagnostics  which lead you to focus attention  for problems in the fuel injection and emissions system
