Built in Owner's Manual?

... Someone mentioned a built in owner's manual that can be accessed by way of the touch screen.
Is it there by default or is it a case of installing the pdf?
Not sure if this is via USB or some form of OTA download?
Any clues would be appreciated

According to the PDF owner manual it can be installed/updated OTA through WiFi connection

The manual was already installed on my 2020 registered Jazz SR, there is an icon on my system to call it up. Although I prefer to use the paper manual most of the time.

Same here, pressed the button and up it popped.

I also prefer the online PDF version, more detail as it's got more pages.

...I checked the 'all apps' section and owner's manual wasn't ticked to show
I can now select it 

On a side note I tried a few movies from the usb stick  turn to audio only once you move away from park though... understandably

I can connect the headunit to my home router quite easily but does that do anything ? I'm sure I spotted somewhere that the headunit WiFi is meant to connect to a mobile phone, not a router ?

No: that should make no functional difference.
En each case it allow updating head unit wirelessly.

I have mine connected to home WiFi - in case an update is large the broadband would download it quicker.

I think updates can also come through the telematics, if so the WiFi connection isn’t really needed.

It connected OK to the router but I subsequently disconnected as I wasn't convinced it was doing anything.

Mine wasn't telematics activated so I've just got the default 3 Honda connections listed.

What app plays a movie?

...No app required (as Phil never said ) Just bung them on a stick with your mp3s. When playing from USB it will play as a video if it's MP4, AVI, WMV etc.
Will revert back to audio only if you move out of 'P'-Park.

Where can I find the service book, or is it also part of the maintenance info in the entertainment system under vehicle settings as well as manual?

The service book is a separate book that should be in the manual pack.

As you're in the UK it should be there.
