I have 1.2s honda jazz 2008 5door.

just wondered if its electric or hydrolic PAS.

Almost certainly Chinese.

Open the bonnet and look at the blue VIN panel - Chinese cars I think state "Honda Motor Company China" or words to that effect.

cool, is it 1st or 2nd generation and also would chinese makers have the same standards of safety and quality as japenese built ones?

1st generation (a 2008 car would almost certainly be made in China):



2nd generation (Japanese built until late 2009; made in Swindon from that point onwards):



Chinese cars should be built to the same standard. There is nothing on here so far to suggest otherwise.
