Position of fuel supply line on engine
« on: April 30, 2010, 11:32:37 AM »
I wish to fit a magnet to the fuel supply line to the engine.

Can someone advise where it is?

Why do you want to do that? Do you suspect contamination of your fuel?

I think some companies advertise that fuel economy will be improved if you use their magnets by aligning molecules bla bla bla..

Your simply wasting your money on this stuff.

If it was that good wouldn't it be fitted as standard?

I wouldn't mess with your fuel lines, they run at high pressure on a fuel injected car and if you get a leak the car could set on fire - and you may be in it at the time!!!

These 'fuel saving' products have come and gone over the years and as far as I know non of them do anything - the only 'magic' about them is the way that they magically transfer money from your bank account to someone elses. If you want to save even more fuel in a jazz, the only way to do it is to drive more carefully.

Just remember the good advice that 'if something seems to good to be true, It undoubtedly is'  ???

Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot
