Plastic engine cowl ( MARK 2 )
« on: May 01, 2021, 05:02:26 PM »
The plastic cowl that runs across the rear of the engine bay above the brake fluid reservoir appears to have a short removable section just above the brake reservoir cap. Does anyone know if this section can be removed separately from the rest of the cowl ?.

Yes - no fixings visible - it is held in with some tags moulded into plastic, just pull it out,  if plastic has gone brittle sometimes a tag can break...  Pull off the U shaped rubber bonnet sealing strip first though.
Some people will only consider you an expert if they agree with your point of view or advice,  when you give them advice they don't like they consider you an idiot
