G'day from sunny Perth (Australia, not Scotland, obviously!)
« on: February 25, 2021, 11:59:59 AM »
Hi guys,
Recently bought myself a black 2010 GE Jazz for a little runabout as I'm going back to university this year. Loving the space & practicality of the 'magic seats', etc. I've pretty much always had small cars, but must say this one is the most impressive for space when you need it!
This is my first Honda, and all 5 of the Honda's I've driven have been Jazz's! (4 were in the process of buying this one!) Last two cars were a Polo GTI and Mini Cooper, so I'm really feeling down on power, but I'm sure I'll get used to it!

I've got a few questions (I'll post those separately if I don't find answers with the search tool), but otherwise just keen to see what people do with their Jazz's!

If you've never had a Honda before, and you are feeling down on power, you probably haven't revved it enough. It's by no means a speed freak but don't be afraid of hitting 5 or even 6 thousand revs when you need them.

Come to think of it, that’s probably my issue. I’m pretty used to short-shifting for the sake of fuel economy. And given my last car was supercharged, I’m used to lots of low-end punch. I might just have to adjust my driving style! Haha
Thanks for the tip!

I had to adjust also, coming from a large diesel.
