How safe is a Jazz in terms of accidents?

I started looking at Jazzs up close recently and man is the front short, there's literally no bonnet if you have a serious accident from the front there's not much between you and the oncoming vehicle and if that vehicle is something like a Range Rover it's going to get interesting.

The NCAP ratings seem good, what trickery is the Jazz using to keep the occupants safe?

Jazz also has high safety for pedestrians as well because of sloping bonnet with low front ( scoops them up and carries them with vehicle rather than knocking them over and under the moving car ) - about as far from 4X4 and bull bars as you can get

I recall a TV documentary a couple of years ago which featured responses to various RTA's. In one instance, in a high speed collision caused by a BMW driver,  a Jazz driver survived with relatively few injuries, and the BMW was literally cut in two and the BMW driver seriously injured, if not worse.
The programme wrongly stated that the smaller car was a Kia -whereas it clearly showed a Honda badge in one shot.
No guarantee, of course, that this would be the outcome in every case!

Incredible how poorly my intuitive choice of an older style long bonnet vehicle(assuming it would fare significantly better in a head-on crash) came off horribly 2nd best. Well that puts my mind ease
