DASH CAM FOOTAGE WOES
« on: November 26, 2019, 06:09:40 PM »
Hi all,

Am after some help please.

I used IMOVIE to process and export some footage (night driving to demonstrate the LED headlights) from my Nextbase Dash cam which I was intending to post on You Tube.
I saved the .mp4 file to the desktop on my Macbook Air but when I try to open the file it is empty and shows zero mb's - so a message comes up saying that it can't be played (both in Quicktime and VLC).

Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

Steve

Hi

If the saved file is 0kb (or mb) then the file either did save correctly or you have saved the file to a different location

No player would play an empty file

Many thanks

John
