Interior/map light coming on

Hello

We have a 2013 Jazz Si. Recently on two occasions the drivers side map light at the front appears to have come on while the vehicle was left parked and locked. On the second occasion it completely flattened the battery over two days.

I wondered if anyone else has experienced this? If so does anyone have a cure?

Incidentally we never use this light so I am 99% sure we have not left it switched on.[/i]
