Hoping a couple of part numbers can be found
« on: November 08, 2016, 11:48:54 AM »
Having just purchased an 11 1.4 EX I've discovered a couple of bits are missing and I'm trying to track down the part no or a proper description, to source them.

1. The cubby hole divider thing that fits in the centre console cubby in front of the gearstick, currently have one biiiiig cubby with no dividing part.

2. In the boot, on the right side, there's a small compartment that has a velcro strap  inside, mine has no door, presumably its for a first aid kit, tire sealant can or something?

Anyone know what these are, and if I can get them just to finish the car off.

Thanks.

I would suggest contacting a vehicle breaker or two. I suspect these parts normally go in the skip so you might get them for little more than the cost of packing and delivery.

How strange it wouldn't recognise my Reg and Jazz only go up to 2009 on the site.

I wonder if part no 7 on the first link schematic (for a 09) would fit for a facelift 11 (console cubby tray)

Is there somewhere definitive that details what was changed on the facelift models?

I guess it is the same. Here you see a Jazz 2012 in Russia with the console parts. It shows the same part number as you have found.

Assuming the 2010 EX is basically  the same as a 2011 EX the breakers would be a good bet. BUT the cubby hole in the boot  should have an electric tyre pump and the gunge for punctures. I threw my gunge away and bought a spare wheel ( skinny type) The tyre pump is quite a decently made piece of kit and pumps the tyres well and it's built pressure gauge is as accurate as my manual one ( the one that pops its end out to show the pressure). If the cover is missing hopefully a breaker will be able to help. with these as well as the divider.

Sorry TGO I should have said have you looked to see if you have a Jack? On mine it is  hidden under the black plastic moulding around the rear door opening where the lock catch is. It is visible from the 'spare wheel' well
If the previous owner took the pump did they take the jack only I believe I have read that some Jazz do not come with a jack.
One last point did you buy the car from a dealer or privately? If it was from a dealer I would suggest a little word in his shell like.

I have the jack & the compressor thing, I found those deep in the spare wheel well area, it's just the 'door' to the compartment that's actually missing on the drivers side wall of the boot.

I think that's number 12 here
But i would look at the breakers for that part and if you can't find it send an email to Honda Parts Europe in Hungary (www.honpa.eu), they maybe have a used one.

Try Honda Parts Europe! I recently found out i was missing two tiny pieces of plastic cover below the mirrors. I emailed them last Sunday, they replied Monday and we had some more very quick email contact. They send the 2 pieces used in perfect condition and i received them today.
