Looking very nice indeed.

Thinking of new trainees for mine but can't decide whether I'm bold enough to go for black rims or play it safe with gunmetal.

I remember a few years ago there was a website you could upload a side on photo of your car and test different rims on it. Can't remember what it was or whether it's still going.

Enjoying your build thread so far though mate.

There's a few different site where you can upload a pic of your car and see different wheels for it, google it mate.
Black or gun metal, I don't you can go wrong with either on your car

Mate, that looks proper tasty! Well done on making it unique at not much cost.

Customizing cars like ours makes life worth living!

Especially like the rear tailgate and bumpre wrap - would never have thought of that.

Guess what she needs now is a twin exit exhaust with a lightly sporty sound  :-\

win deflectors were from Hong Kong. Got a mate who was going there so i asked him to look for some for me.
But you can get some from ebay for about £20-£30 which are exactly the same. Quality isn't great if i'm being honest but can't complain for £20, does the job. Genuine Mugen ones cost £140!

Got my custom 3" back box last week from Solidfabrications.co.uk.
The reason just got the back box is because i really didn't want anything too loud. Had loud exhausts on my first 2 cars and it was fun for a while but did my head in most of the time.

Ok let's get started

Alan making my 3" rolled tip

Now aligning to where and how i want it

Perfect!

Yes it look like a spoon N1 but bigger pipe. Its funny because I never really liked the N1 but once Alan showed a variety of tips, I opted for this one because it suited my car so much!

Boss weldings

All done!

Me and my mates ek jordan

I love the exhaust! Really finishes off the rear.
It's not loud at all and no droning at motorway speeds but still gives me that low deep tone when I give it some revs.
I will consider whether to get a custom B pipe from Alan later on but for now I'll enjoy this.

sorry no sound clip yet.
cost me £220 for the back box and only took 2 hours all in. Was going to get a J's racing 304r for £370 but I wasn't sure on fitment. I've seen a few after market exhausts on GD's and they have had to trim a bit of the bumper for it to fit properly. I really didn't want to go down this route as I already have my wrap there.
If you want a custom manni, exhaust, cat backs etc. Alan from solid fabrications is your man!

Nice one Chops  8)

Funny you mentioned about not liking the style of the Spoon N1 as neither did I- Never liked it on the EP3 but at the time of when I was modding mine, the only off the shelf backbox available was the N1 so I had no option but to get that.

As the Mugen bodykit I got had an 'cut out' for the exhaust, the fit was perfect and I didnt have any fears for burning/ touching the rear bumper

Whats next then?  :P
