Perhaps it's not unfair ;) to mention that when we drive that long (1000 km/625 mi), we make a stop every 2 to 2½ hours. About 90% of the distance is Polish, German and Dutch motorway. ACC at 125 km/h (in the Netherlands 105 km/h) and LKAS on.
And when I get, Mrs. Jazzik takes the wheel for a few hours.

If you are driving a long way then regular breaks are essential or you will get sore bum syndrome and all the other non activity issues.

As you get older the distance between breaks gets shorter.

In my twenties I could easily drive 200 miles from London to Manchester without stopping. These days I stop once on a 100 mile journey I do infrequently.

Not for everyone. I drive Kent to Glasgow non stop, not in my Jazz though and even the dog does not complain  ;D

In my 20's Kent to Newcastle and return same day was a norm.

My Jazz would be ok on long journeys as a car, but the seat base and hence my rear end comfort is the limiting factor for me.

Can't imagine you will regret your decision.
Probably one of the easiest cars around to drive and very friendly on the wallet when it comes to petrol time.

Plasma,
Many on this forum would consider a 2015 Jazz with   only 27000 miles as  being only just "run-in" and good for many more years and miles.
I hope the next owner takes good care of your old Jazz in its afterlife, perhaps someone from the forum!

I got rid of my 2013 Civic with only 24k on the clock at 9 years because of potential spare parts issues.

AFAIK manufacturer's are only obliged to supply parts for 10 years and I could see my pre facelift headunit breaking and that would be that.
Let's be careful out there !

“Test drive went well, so I bought a (red) one”.

Crypes, I take longer than that, to choose which brand of beans to buy in Tesco.

There is a function within the cars menu, that is running in the background, but can be turned off at startup.

It is called RDMS, or some think of it as Red Mist! I have never turned it off, nor wanted to. Simple.

Whichever model you have bought, you will love it.

Contact the Revitive Medic people, (IanBotham add.) to see if they do a model, suitable for the left leg only!

I would suggest that you never drive down narrow country lanes.
If you did, you would certainly turn RDMS off.

If a car is approaching you, you would normally pull in close to the verge, whereupon RDMS immediately attempts to steer you, away from the verge and into the path of the approaching car, which in my opinion is just downright dangerous. :o :o

Completely agree on this, it's over sensitive and at times can aggressively steer you across the road. Best turned off, which is easily done at start up each time. The face lift model may have tamed this "safety" function

I actually find the RDMS fairly mild and unobtrusive, at least compared to other cars I've driven, so I don't feel the urge to switch it off.  It can easily be corrected by a gentle correction with the steering wheel.
