I've done my regular Heathrow(ish) to Reading journey.
What I can now say is LIM is the boy for the job and I can't see me using ACC again.
LIM does what it says and you can switch lanes on the motorway with no deceleration interference. I can now go back to waiting for a passing car for example before pulling out behind it to overtake at what I consider to be a safe distance and not have ACC try and keep me in the previous county.
From my garage I turned on LIM which displayed the min 18mph. I then pressed and held RES+ that made LIM go 20 -30 - 40 - 50 then a quick press took it to 51, which is 49/50 on my Garmin DS61.
Once on the motorway just accelerated normally and at 51, no more acceleration, perfect.
Then when I got to M4 J8/9 where the limit rises to 60, a series of quick presses whilst accelerating got LIM to 61, which is 59/60 on the Garmin.
Proper Job
