This is not the CVT judder issue.

Car feel surging- fells like when accelerating, like I decided to press the brake for a split second (harshly)...

What could this be?

I have asked garage to change spark plugs. I had a similar issue when the car was at 100k miles. Got the spark plugs changed to Copper type so the car now is at 133k. Given that copper spark plugs only works for 30k I took the car to get 8 plugs changed ( different garage ) so hope they changed all 8.

No change

So I started changing coils by myself. These have not been change for about 84k miles. I did the front 4, still no difference, problem still there. I heard rear coils did not work as hard so I was going to do them later? however I notice car idle much better now and engine is less noisy when accelerating. but surge is still there.

I was going to go to a garage and ask for them to check rear plug to see if these have been really changed.

if these are changed. I was going to use a fuel injector cleaner run the car for 100 miles and MAP sensor cleaner too....

Is there anything else I should check before replacing rear coils?

Car runs fine, start with no problem, can climb hills no problem. No do not think it is the fuel pump.

Surge is noticeable when car is driven for about 15 miles. I can look into EVG valve.  I do not think this throttle position sensor or PCV valve

any tips and help please.... Thank you

Stop spending.
Ask your local motor trade business who they use for Diagnostic work.
Get a trusted bloke to check your Jazz and hours work at most will provide you with a report
You'll then know the correct route to take to fix it repair the fault 8 out 10 are electrical .
Good luck

Hey I replaced all spark plugs 8 of them then...I replaced front 4 coils.

Then used an injector cleaner fluid.

Car improved so much. I am going to replace the rear four coils too and see if the surge completely goes. It should do.....if not then will try another bottle of injector cleaner.......if the problem continues but reduce further then it points to injectors..
