Software update

Having got a new radio router from Virgin Media a few days ago and not having much to do today, I thought I would connect the Jazz to it and see if there were any updates. There were two apps which are obviously add-ons to the Navi software. One to show you where car parks are and er um oops I've forgotten what the other one was for but I don't have the Navi so it's not relevant to me. There was also a small system update which downloaded and installed fairly quickly and an update to the Honda App Center which took ages to download and I'm not sure if it installed because it still shows an update available when I run the App Center.

The apps for fuel prices and carparks are applicable to all vehicles with the display audio unit, not just the "navi" versions. Both work in a similar way in that they show fuel prices/car parking availability and costs either nearby or in any user defined search area. Only difference with the "navi" units is that you can navigate directly to your chosen carpark or fuel station. Both apps need an internet connection to function.
