Jazz 2003 - Radio problem
« on: November 25, 2009, 02:08:24 PM »
Hi, just bought an Honda Jazz 2003 mod. Unfortunatley the car had no User/owners manual, so I dont have the instructions for how to set/tune the radio.

When starting the radio nothing happens, but after a while it will tune in, but then again disapear again soon. When the radio is not working the TP is blinking, and it is impossible to seek.

1. Anyone having the same problem and a solution for this?

2. Is there som place (i.e download) I can get an service/user/owners manual for Honda jazz 2003? I have googled but cant find any.

thanks

Have you tried a Honda dealer for the service/user/owners manual ?

Just a long shot, but try pressing the TA button to disable the auto traffic announcements - when this is enabled the unit will only seek radio stations transmitting traffic info.

Hope this helps

Sounds like someone has removed the radio and the aerial connection is poorly connected to me. does the cd player work OK?

Old topic, but new problem to my Jazz. Did anyone confirm a fix here? No one worked on the radio. I had the car from new. Th Cd player works, but when in radio mode, no sound, no reaction from any buttons other than the "power" and "mode" button.

Other than what is already suggest maybe it needs a cold start, that is remove all power from the unit including memory (which fuse?) and start up the unit from scratch.

Failing that and eliminating any dodgy connectors, then the radio will need either replacing or pulling out and opening up to repair (dodgy caps? dry solder joints?)
