Creaking from boot area
« on: December 10, 2014, 02:27:17 PM »
For the past 3 weeks, whilst driving slowly (40 km/hr) , I have noticed a creaking noise which appears to come from the boot.  I had a friend sitting in the back with the boot floor and spare removed, and he thought it seemed to be a suspension noise.

Of course pressing the car up and down whilst stationery does not present the noise

I haven't yet crawled under to look - is there an anti-roll bar?  Sometimes the rubbers get dusty and create a noise

Had a similar noise from the front of my Jazz. Sprayed all the rubbers on the anti-roll bar with silicone spray, seemed to do the trick.

Chris I notices a similar noise from the rear of our Jazz yesterday.  Let me know if you find a solution
