Exactly why I bought my Jazz. Needed something small to replace the Volvo estate I had to sell because that nice Mayor of London wanted to charge for older cars to use his streets / roads!!!!!!!

Grrrrrrrrrr! Don't get me started.

At least it went to areally nice chap who came down from Edinburgh to collect it.

I don't have numbers of how many times the Jazz saved the day by its ultra flexible interior. Especially that ability to fold up the rear seats and thus have a compartment height almost like a van!

I really really really love that interior and will as soon my wallet is ready buy one more and keep as spare for when this one is done.

Whilst talking about versatility, the attached photo show my Jazz carrying a GWR 1500 class steam locomotive, (well, a 1/8 scale version). The car was fitted with a steel framework which allowed for a roll on /roll off facility.
The photo shows them some years ago, in very early stages of build, but you get the idea.  Each model weighed roughly 100kg in its finished state.
The real thing can be seen working on the Severn Vally Railway, in the West Midlands.

Ah, not sure, you may well be right, the photo must have been taken more than 15 years ago.
However,  I’m now on Jazz No 8 and I can assure you, the same rig (slightly modified) has been used many times to transport the models in the Jazz cars.

Earlier in the year I bought a 2023 Crosstar with 6000 miles on the clock.

Having had CRVs for 27 years, conveying my golf gear presented a few problems. Previously, I just chucked everything into the boot.
But I bought a cheap boot tray and large rubber mat on eBay for it for less than forty quid.




With the mat covering the backs of the rear seats, I can get everything in quite easily and there's never any mess left on the back of the seats when I take the gear out.

The tinted rear windows mean my tour bag and electric trolley can't be easily seen if I park up in Sainsbury's to get some shopping on the way home. So I'm more than happy.
