I'm absolutely set to buy the 5-year warranty extension!
My dealership recommended to do it in year three of ownership (just in case I totaled the car in the meantime - no need to throw away money)

I had an issue with the left mirror, it folded but made a grinding noise. That was replaced under warranty. Now the right one sometimes doesn't fold. It goes in a little way then stops, if I give it a gentle push then the mirror folds in all the way. This happens mainly when locking the car. with the engine running it seems more reliable, I think the suggestion about higher voltage might be spot on. I might try the silicon spray trick. My Jazz is a 2021 EX at 21K miles.

I have had both mirror motors replaced now under warranty. A year between failures, the left being the first to pack up.
