Saying Hi with a question please

Just thought I would pop in quickly to say Hi and ask a couple questions please..

Just keeping an eye out for a 2004'ish plate Jazz but just wanted to ask about adding a monitor for the engine temperature and coolant..

I believe that its possible to use the Scanguage method-is this just plug and play and do I need to be concerned about how accurate it will be reading?

Also,is this still the best method you owners recommend to read the coolant and engine temp or have things moved on?
