Spark plugs

I have been advised that the spark plugs need changing because of the age of the car.
Do plugs deteriate with age???

I think Jazz plugs are supposed to be changed at 70,000 miles

Others will correct me if I am wrong

You don't say the age or mileage


Having said that, mine is 66k and running well, not sure I want to disturb it

No, as far as I know, if well stored.

How does the car run?

Starts easily?

Over 50mpg on a run?

No hiccups or stalling?

If the answers are positive, I wouldn't change them

One rreason to change the plugs is to stop them seizing in the hole.
Honda say 70k on plugs but I normally do mine at 50k as you can sear the combustion burn on them when you take them out.

Deffo worth doing IMO.

Edam ,
mine was at 48k, but it will be an age thing with yours  ( More heat cycle related ).
Wouldn't want them seizing in the block as that's a right ball ache if they do.
