Rear Seat Belt
« on: Today at 09:38:47 AM »
My Crosstar last week developed an irritating noise from the back when going over uneven road surfaces.
I check for anything loose in the boot, found nothing and then looked at the retracted seat belt for a middle rear seat passenger.
Next to where it comes out of the head lining there's a little slot to accept the loose bit that goes into the fixing in the seat when in use.  I just pushed it in and it locked. It was this end of the seat belt rattling which was causing the noise.

When I collected mine the all rear seat belts were fastened

It took a bit of fiddling to work out how the roof one went into the hole and locked
Let's be careful out there !

On handover my dealer showed me a trick to unlock the centre seatbelt to stow in the roof. If you can't get to the little latch which unlocks the fixed part just use the tip of the mechanical key in the key fob, slots in just right.
